Liverpool FC Women X AXA - No Limits to pursuing a dream
As the women’s game goes from strength to strength on an international level through the Lionesses and their historic Women’s EURO 2022 win, so does the WSL and other women’s leagues.
About the project
The “No Limits to pursuing a dream” campaign looks into the lives and careers of the Liverpool FC Ladies players, what fuels them as an individual and as a team, as well the opportunities that are present in the modern age of the ladies game.
Filming took place in November 2019 at multiple locations in the city of Liverpool, including famous landmarks The Carvern Club, Royal Albert Dock and Anfield Stadium. CEO of AXA Asia Gordon Watson would visit The Wirral, home of Liverpool Ladies Training Ground, to talk to players about self belief and their drive for perfection.
The HNE Media team were approached by Hong Kong based agency The Media Village to be the UK based production team to travel to Liverpool and provide the material for the campaign. This included both video production and photography and a team of four travelled to Liverpool over a number of days.
This was a high profile shoot for a very high profile client, AXA Asia, working closely and liaising with Liverpool FC in order to coordinate the activities at the various shoot locations.
