About the project
We have worked closely with the Marketing team at Hockerill Anglo-European College in Bishop’s Stortford for many years and across many video projects.
In preparation for the schools open day, Hockerill set us the brief of promoting the academy to new prospective students that would join in September. The challenge at this time was that COVID-19 was still a problem for the country and schools everywhere where looking at ways to show people around the school, without the need for doing this in person due to social distancing rules.
Through a series of interviews from parents, teachers and students, the video would be shown on a live stream hosted on the schools YouTube channel that would go over all the potential areas of interest from a typical open day. We would film content covering topics such as the International Baccalaureate program, boarding, student life and education, the environment and a principal’s address for a more personal touch at a time when this was hard to get across.
