Indie Awards
The Indie Awards or “Indies” are organised by Bishop’s Stortford Independent, a newspaper based in the Hertfordshire town of Bishop’s Stortford. The awards cover Community, Sport and Business Awards, recognising the very best of the town in terms of selfless service or amazing achievements.
About the project
Our role each year is to shoot and edit the stories of the winners for each awards category. Self-shooting with the winners in a variety of locations, we create poignant and emotional videos which are used on the night of the awards. Some are funny, some are heartfelt. Our remit is always to tell the story of the winner and help add to the magic of the awards evening. Additionally we film the event multi-camera to make a highlights film, and in 2021 we live-streamed the awards for the first time which is now an annual part of the event.
