When looking for a theatre show videographer to film your theatre show you should ideally start your research early. Many of our theatre show video production clients book us 6 months to a year ahead. The most organised clients book us as soon as the date for the following years’ show has been confirmed with the venue.

Can you handle the orders for us?
Yes, we also have a minimum order option whereby we can sell the digital downloads through a simple secure payment link. All you need to do is agree to make up the shortfall should sales be below a minimum of 50 units per show. Downloads are £19 per copy inc VAT.
How many cameras will you bring?
We shoot all shows with a minimum of 2 cameras, a locked off wide shot and an operated camera with one camera person. We can usually setup in the back row centre within 3 or 4 seats so we do not need much space.
How long will I have to wait for our show to be edited?
Typically we have most shows edited and ready for approval by the client within two weeks of the show. Because we limit the number of shows we take on we are able to offer a quick turnaround.
How will parents receive their video?
Digital downloads are sent by email to the email address provided by each parent with a password for protection. We use a system called MediaZilla which allows users to stream or download their video and watch on a range of devices including smart TVs.
Do I need to let the venue know our show is being filmed?
We would recommend letting them know so they can block out seats or a space for our cameras. Generally for our 2 or 3 camera setup, we ask you to block out the 5 seats in the back centre row. For our 5 camera setup we may need further seats taken off-sale, or space for our cameras to be safely positioned.
What time will you arrive on the day of the show?
We aim to be at your venue 2.5 hours before curtain up. This allows us time to setup and familiarise ourselves with the venue, and to set our white balance, audio feed (if supplied) and understand the lighting used in the show.

The example below shows how our show videos are presented. We like to use show imagery or branding for the menu to keep it consistent your school brand identity so providing us with artwork from the show helps to create a great finished product you and all your students can be proud of.
How much does it cost?
We have two options, we can handle the orders for the show digital downloads via a simple order link that you send out, we collect the orders and the performers receive their video via email using our MediaZilla platform typically within 2 weeks of the show. This is subject to a minimum order of 50x downloads priced at £19 per copy.
Alternatively you may want the security of paying a fixed fee to cover filming and editing. You may wish to build the cost of the show video into the ticket sales. Fixed fee prices start from £800 inc VAT.

How do i book?
Booking is straight forward, please let us know if you would like us to handle the orders (subject to a minimum of 50 orders) or if you would prefer the fixed fee option. Tell us some details about your show including date, venue, run time and number of performers. We can then check availability and confirm the costs. We have a simple online booking form and if a deposit is required to secure the date we will let you know and invoice. Once paid and the booking link completed the date is then secured and we are booked to film your show.
